Preparation
- Place the chopped carrots, potatoes, and quartered onion in the bottom of the Crock Pot.
- Season the chuck roast generously with salt and pepper and place it on top of the chopped vegetables.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic, and stir until well-mixed.
- Pour the mixture over the roast.
- Sprinkle any desired herbs over the top of the roast.
Cooking
- Cover the Crock Pot with its lid and set it to cook on low for 8-10 hours, or on high for 4-5 hours.
- Ensure the meat is tender and easily shredded before serving.
Serving
- Serve the chuck roast warm with the vegetables and enjoy.
