Preparation
  1. Season the chicken cutlets with salt and black pepper.
  2. Dredge each piece in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and coat with the breadcrumb and Parmesan mixture.
Cooking
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium heat until hot.
  2. Carefully place the breaded chicken cutlets in the pan without overcrowding.
  3. Cook on each side until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per side.
Sauce Preparation
  1. In the same skillet, add more butter if necessary and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring it to a gentle simmer.
  3. Add heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest, stirring until thickened.
Combining
  1. Return the chicken cutlets back to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.
