Ingredients
  

For the Brie
  • 8 oz Brie cheese Cut into wedges
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs For coating
  • 2 large Eggs Beaten for dipping
  • 1 cup Oil For frying, use a high smoke point oil like canola or sunflower
For the Pepper Honey
  • 1/2 cup Honey For drizzle
  • 1 tsp Black pepper Freshly cracked
For the Olives
  • 1 cup Olives Sliced or whole, for warmth
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest For flavoring
  • 1 tbsp Fresh herbs Such as thyme or rosemary
For Serving
  • 4 oz Prosciutto Thinly sliced

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the Brie into wedges and dip each piece in beaten eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.
Cooking
  1. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Fry the Brie until golden and crispy.
  3. In a small pot, combine honey and freshly cracked black pepper to create the pepper honey.
  4. In another pan, heat olives in olive oil with lemon zest and fresh herbs until warm.
Serving
  1. Serve the crispy Brie with pepper honey alongside the warm lemon-herb olives and slices of prosciutto.

Notes

Use small batches when frying to maintain oil temperature. For a gluten-free option, substitute breadcrumbs with almond meal or crushed pork rinds.
