- Place the cauliflower steaks on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until crispy and charred on the edges.
Preparing Caramelized Onions
- In a pan over medium heat, heat olive oil.
- Add onions and cook until soft and starting to brown, stirring often.
- Stir in balsamic vinegar and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
Assembly
- Spoon the caramelized onions over the baked cauliflower steaks.
- Grate and sprinkle cheese generously over the onions.
- Return to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
