Ingredients
  

Batter Ingredients
  • 1 cup pancake mix Any regular pancake mix works well.
  • 1 cup water Adjust as needed based on pancake mix instructions.
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 pound sausage patties You can swap pork sausage for turkey or chicken sausage.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese Cheddar is recommended, but other varieties like Swiss or pepper jack can be used.
For Serving
  • Maple syrup For drizzling or dipping.

Preparation
  1. Preheat your skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix pancake mix and water until well combined.
Cooking
  1. Pour small amounts of the pancake batter onto the skillet to form mini pancakes.
  2. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the sausage patties in another skillet until browned and cooked through.
Assembly
  1. Assemble each McGriddle Bite by placing a sausage patty and a sprinkle of cheese between two mini pancakes.
  2. Serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top.

Notes

Store leftover bites in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
