Ingredients
  

Brownie Mixture
  • 1 box brownie mix Use your favorite brand.
  • 3 large eggs For the brownie mix preparation.
  • 1/2 cup oil For the brownie mix preparation.
  • 1/4 cup water For the brownie mix preparation.
  • 1 can cherry filling or maraschino cherries For filling the brownie bombs.
Coating
  • 12 oz chocolate melting wafers or chocolate chips For dipping the brownie balls.
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles Optional, for decoration.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions, mixing with eggs, oil, and water until smooth.
  2. Bake brownies in a greased pan, then let them cool completely on a wire rack.
  3. Crumble the cooled brownies into a large bowl.
  4. Add the cherry filling or chopped maraschino cherries to the crumbled brownies and mix until combined.
  5. Take small amounts of the mixture and form them into balls, placing a cherry in the center of each ball.
Chocolate Coating
  1. Melt the chocolate wafers or chocolate chips according to package instructions, stirring until smooth.
  2. Dip each brownie ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off.
  3. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with sprinkles if desired.
  4. Allow to set until the chocolate hardens, either at room temperature or in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
Serving
  1. Once set, serve the brownie bombs at your next gathering, or enjoy them at home.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze for up to 3 months. Let thaw in the fridge before serving.
