Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and set it aside.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and paprika. Stir until everything is evenly mixed.
- Fold in the cooked chicken, turkey ham (if using), and cooked rice or noodles into the creamy mixture. Mix until evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly throughout.
- Sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
Baking
- In a small bowl, combine the crushed crackers with melted butter and mix well. Sprinkle this mixture generously over the cheese.
- Bake the casserole uncovered for about 30–35 minutes, or until it is hot and bubbly and the topping is golden brown.
- Once baked, let the casserole sit for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
