Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich
  • 2 slices crusty bread Use crusty bread for a bold bite or toast for warmth.
  • 1 cup cooked chicken, diced Leftover or rotisserie chicken can be used.
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped Keep separate until ready to serve to maintain crispness.
  • 1/4 cup Caesar dressing Adjust based on taste.
  • to taste salt and pepper Add according to preference.
  • to taste Parmesan cheese, for garnish Add a dusting on top before serving.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the diced chicken, chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Place the chicken mixture on one slice of bread.
  3. Top with the other slice of bread.
Cooking
  1. If desired, grill the sandwich for a couple of minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Press gently while grilling to make the top crisp.
  3. Watch closely to avoid burning the bread.
  4. Remove when the bread is golden and the filling is warm.
Serving
  1. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.

Notes

You can store the filling for later use. Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days; store lettuce separately to maintain crispness. Do not freeze once mixed with lettuce.
