Preparation
- Start by boiling water in a large pot. Add the penne pasta and cook it according to the package instructions until it is al dente. Drain the pasta in a colander and set it aside.
Combining Ingredients
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the cooked and diced chicken breast along with the crumbled bacon. Stir for about 2 minutes until heated through.
- Pour in the ranch dressing and stir to mix well. Allow simmering for a couple of minutes.
- Add the drained penne pasta to the skillet and gently toss everything together until the pasta is well coated.
- Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and halved cherry tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Continue cooking over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
Serving
- Serve warm, and if desired, sprinkle with chives for extra flavor and garnish.
Notes
