Method
 

Preparation
  1. Start by boiling water in a large pot. Add the penne pasta and cook it according to the package instructions until it is al dente. Drain the pasta in a colander and set it aside.
Combining Ingredients
  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add the cooked and diced chicken breast along with the crumbled bacon. Stir for about 2 minutes until heated through.
  2. Pour in the ranch dressing and stir to mix well. Allow simmering for a couple of minutes.
  3. Add the drained penne pasta to the skillet and gently toss everything together until the pasta is well coated.
  4. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and halved cherry tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Continue cooking over medium heat for about 3-4 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted.
Serving
  1. Serve warm, and if desired, sprinkle with chives for extra flavor and garnish.

Notes
