Cooking Process
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the pasta in a colander and set it aside.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef or turkey, stirring occasionally. Once fully cooked, drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes into the skillet. Cook until heated through.
  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing well to combine all ingredients.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and cover with a lid to allow the cheese to melt before serving.

Notes

Consider using whole wheat or chickpea pasta for additional fiber. Store leftovers in airtight containers for up to three days. Add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
