Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until the onion is translucent. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- In a large bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup and milk. Stir in the cooked beef mixture.
Layering
- In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, layer half of the potatoes, followed by half of the beef mixture, and half of the cheese. Repeat the layers.
Baking
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the potatoes are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve with a green side salad or steamed vegetables for added color and freshness. Store leftovers in the fridge or freeze for later use.
