Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Steam the cauliflower florets until just tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Meanwhile, in a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Remove from heat and stir in the cheese until melted. Add Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Combine the cauliflower with the cheese sauce, then transfer to a baking dish.
- If desired, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Serve hot.
Notes
