Ingredients
  

Steak and Seasoning
  • 1 pound steak tips
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust to taste for spice level
  • Salt and pepper to taste
Pasta and Sauce
  • 8 ounces rigatoni pasta Can substitute with penne, ziti, or shells if preferred
  • 1 cup heavy cream Can substitute with half-and-half for a lighter sauce
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese Freshly grated preferred
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For cooking steak
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning and salt.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak tips and cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set aside.
Sauce and Pasta
  1. In the same skillet, add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  2. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
  3. Meanwhile, cook the rigatoni according to package instructions; drain.
Combine and Serve
  1. Combine the rigatoni with the cheese sauce and add the cooked steak tips.
  2. Toss well to coat.
  3. Serve hot, garnished with parsley.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. The cream sauce will thicken; add a splash of milk or cream when reheating. This dish can be frozen for up to 2 months, but the sauce's texture may change.
