  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning Adjust according to heat preference.
  • 1 cup ketchup Provides the sweet and tangy base.
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 4 pieces hamburger buns Soft buns recommended.

Preparation
  1. In a large skillet, cook the ground chicken over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic, cooking until softened.
  3. Stir in the Cajun seasoning, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer for about 10 minutes, until heated through.
  5. Serve the mixture on hamburger buns and add pickles if desired.

Notes

Serve these sloppy joes hot on soft buns. Toast the buns for crunch. You can also add a slice of cheese on the filling and balance with a side of salad or fries.
