Method
 

Cooking the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the bow tie pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
  2. Drain the pasta and set aside to cool.
Combining the Salad
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled pasta, cherry tomatoes, red onion, bocconcini cheese, spinach, and basil.
Preparing the Dressing
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together pesto, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper until well mixed and smooth.
Combining Salad and Dressing
  1. Pour the dressing over the pasta salad mixture and toss gently to combine.

Notes
