Ingredients
  

For the Mocktail
  • 10-15 pieces blueberries Fresh blueberries for muddling.
  • 8 leaves mint leaves Fresh mint for flavor.
  • 1/2 lime lime juice or 1/2 oz bottled lime juice Juice from half a lime.
  • 1 teaspoon powdered monkfruit sweetener or sugar For sweetness; adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 oz honey or maple syrup Optional natural sweetener.
  • 1 cup soda water or lime sparkling water or kombucha Choose your preferred mixer.
  • 1 oz non-alcoholic rum or 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar Optional for added flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Muddle the blueberries in a glass until they burst and release their juice.
  2. Add lime juice and your chosen sweetener to the glass, and muddle again to combine.
  3. Smack the mint leaves between your hands to release oils, then add them to the mixture.
  4. Fill the glass with ice until it's nearly full.
  5. If using, add non-alcoholic rum or apple cider vinegar.
  6. Top with soda water, lime sparkling water, or kombucha until the glass is full.
  7. Give the mocktail a gentle stir and garnish with extra blueberries or a mint sprig.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh; however, you can prepare the blueberry and mint mixture ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
