Preparation
- In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Mix well until the beef is evenly coated. Let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan. Cook for about 3-4 minutes, or until the beef is browned. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the minced garlic and grated ginger. Stir quickly for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets and beef broth to the pan. Cover it and steam for about 2-3 minutes.
- Return the beef to the pan and combine everything, cooking together for another 2 minutes.
- Serve the Beef and Broccoli hot over cooked rice.
Notes
For a healthier option, use gluten-free soy sauce and low-sodium broth. This dish is great for meal prep and can be stored in an airtight container for up to 4 days. Variations can include adding other vegetables like bell peppers or snap peas.
