Preparation
- Preheat the oven according to the cake mix package instructions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water; mix until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a baking sheet according to package instructions and bake. Let it cool completely afterwards.
- Crumble the cooled cake into small pieces in a large bowl.
- Add the frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until fully incorporated.
- Shape the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Freeze the cake balls for about 30 minutes to firm them up.
- Melt the white chocolate or candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl until fully melted.
- Dip each cake ball in the melted chocolate using a fork or dipping tool and ensure they are fully coated.
- Place them back on the baking sheet and immediately sprinkle with red and blue sprinkles before the chocolate hardens.
- Allow the cake balls to sit at room temperature until the chocolate is completely hardened.

Can be made healthier using low-calorie cake mix or gluten-free options. Store in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for longer storage.
